Purpose: In this study, we aimed to evaluate the effects of the prognostic factors on the survival rate of advanced stage non-small cell lung cancer cases.

Patients and Methods: In this study, we aimed to evaluate the effects of the prognostic factors on the survival rate of stage IV non-small cell lung cancer cases.

Results: Younger then 65 years old, with 0 performance patients surviving rates are significantly longer than others. On the other side that bien histopatholgical subgroup, smoking, weight loss or sexual differences had no afeect on the survival rate (p>0.05). When we compare the presence of metastases and survival rate there was no significant differences. When LDH levels were high surviving rates were lower.

Conclusion: Normal LDH levels, good performance status and <65 age play important roles in longer survival with advanced non-small cell lung cancer cases. Keywords : non-small cell lung cancer, prognosis
