Method: In this descriptive study, we tried to reach all the universe as a one sample or (In this descriptive study, our sample represents the whole universe). The universe of the study included 150 midwives who had been working in the Sakarya Training and Research Hospital between February 2017 and December 2017, the sample of the study included 95 midwives. "Information Collection Form" which prepared by researchers, "Scale of Values Hierarchy (SVH)" and "Moral Sensitivity Questionnaire (MSQ)" were used to collect the data. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, chi-square, Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis test were used in the analysis of the data.

Results: As a result of the analysis, it was determined that those who participated in the survey preferred the aesthetic value as the first value/one. MSQ total score was 87.89 and had moderate moral sensitivity. When the relationship between MSQ subscores and first value preferences were examined, we found a statistically significant correlation between the MSQ subscale "Holistic Approach" and the first value preferences (p <0,05). Furthermore, we found a significant difference between the groups of satisfied profession, willing to choose a profession, having a voice and the MSQ subscale scores (p <0,05).

Conclusion: It can be said that the midwives who are included in the survey have a moderate moral sensitivity; emphasize the most aesthetic value within individual values; have higher moral sensitivities those who are married, voluntarily choose to work, satisfied or have a voice with their professions.
